 In an early appearance there, The Washington Post noted that the Italian guitarist, Emanuele Segre, was “a musician of immense promise.” That promise has been fulfilled. Segre performs internationally in cities including New York, Los Angeles, Boston, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Vienna, Prague, Salzburg, Tel Aviv, Rio de Janeiro, Istanbul, Warsaw, Madrid, Rome, Milan, Seoul and elsewhere around the globe. As soloist, he has appeared with the English Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Salvatore Accardo, the Moscow Soloists, the Zagreb’s Soloists, the European Community Chamber Orchestra, the Slovakian Chamber Orchestra and the Süddeutscher Kammerorchester. He has performed with the Orchestra of Teatro alla Scala in Milan. He has participated in prestigious international festivals such as the Marlboro Festival (USA), the Bratislava Festival (Czechoslovakia), and the Settimane Musicali Internazionali di Napoli (Italy). |
